Introducing Wally and Jed

There were no promotions last week so we are doing a feature on a long term member Wally, and his Golden Retriever Jed.

Wally is a member of the committee and is usually seen helping Mel set up both the outside area and the Kiosk on a Sunday morning. Wally has two dogs, the younger Eva, a black Labrador Retriever and the Golden Retriever Jed, who is now 10 years old.

Jed had many competition titles, including Grand Track and Search Champion (TCH), Rally Novice (RN), Novice Retrieving Dog (NRD) and Open Retrieving Dog (ORA). He retired from competing 2 years ago. Jed and Wally prefer retrieving, with Jed being very food motivated. Wally and Jed do part of a class sometimes, at other times Wally is in class with Eva. Jed initially came from a breeder in Pearcedale.
